- 1365: The foundation of SHW (Schwabische Huttenwerke) as an iron ore extraction and smelting company in Germany.
- 1696: Establishment of the first purpose-built plant in Tuttlingen, Germany.
- 1925: Release of a prototype car featuring advanced design elements such as a lightweight aluminum chassis.
- 1964: Collaboration with Porsche to develop the first internal ventilated brake disc, featured on the iconic Porsche 911.
- 1993: Joint development of the first 'Pin-Disc Brake Rotor' with BMW Motorsport.
- 2008: Production begins on 'Pin Drive Brake Disc Rotors' for road cars.
