Installation Instructions

1. Download and install Accessport Manager on your PC or Mac. Update the AP3-SUB-001 firmware to the latest version before beginning.
2. With the ignition off, locate the green Test Mode connectors under the driver's side dash to the left of the steering column. Connect the two green connectors together to enable Test Mode.
3. Locate the Initialization Connector near the Test Mode connectors. Use the blue connector for a 2002 WRX or the white connector for a 2003-2005 WRX. Plug it into the corresponding connector under the dash.
4. Connect the Accessport V3 OBD-II cable to the vehicle OBD-II port under the dash and to the port on the bottom of the Accessport.
5. Turn the ignition to the ON position with the engine off. The Accessport will power on and launch the setup wizard.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to identify your vehicle and select the appropriate OTS map for your fuel type and modification level.
7. Allow the flash to complete fully. Do not disconnect the Accessport or turn off the ignition during flashing.
8. Once complete, disconnect the Initialization Connector and restore the Test Mode connectors to their original unplugged position.
9. Start the vehicle and verify normal operation. Mount the Accessport using the included hardware in a visible, secure cabin location.
10. Use Accessport Manager to download additional maps, review datalogs, or update firmware as needed.
