Jeep Grand Cherokee Carbon Fiber Demon Window Hood
We use a UV Clear gel coat only. This finish is buffed to a shine on all of our carbon fiber parts and accessories. The same gel coat is used on our fiberglass version, except that gel coat is black in color.
Our carbon fiber will look better the longer you own it and pick up more of a shine every time it is polished because of the UV gel coat we use is extremely hard.
We do not use an automotive clear coat that yellows, fades or cracks over time. If your carbon fiber gets scratched there is no need to re-clear the whole part. Simply wetsand and re-buff for a completely new look. Digs gouges, scratches from flying debris? These can be filled with a layer of clear gelcoat and wet-sanded smooth and buffed again.
Gel coat has a tendency of drying out resulting in a white haze we recommend waxing with a Pure Carnauba at lease once a month for best results. Think of it like dry skin you have to keep it coated at all times. Ceramic coatings and PPF wrapping is fine for gel coat and poses no damage from long term use.
Note: We do not recommend fiberglass to be installed as is It is meant to be painted prior to installation.
- Molded vent ring for a cleaner look. The OEM Demon hood has no mesh vent just a trimmed opening.
- Window comes with a white protective film (remove after install and or after painting).
- All Black Ops carbon fiber and fiberglass has clear UV gel Coat protectant finish that needs a monthly wax with a quality carnauba wax. Carbon fiber hoods are buffed to a shine, so absolutely no automotive paint. If your hood dulls from lack of care or oxidizes, no worries. Wet sand and buff and it will come right back to new condition.
- Removable clear window to keep the intake run polished. A clean run helps keep velocity up all the way to the intake box. The window creates a a water break just like the OEM Demon Hood, which has a plastic surround. This is our method of a water break and a higher air velocity on a composite hood.
- RGBW Wire runs through and out the passengers side lower corner to be wired for power. The removable window makes it easy for an RGBW LED light install. Turn on the LEDs when the hood is open or when driving down the road.

- All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. Black Ops Auto Works will not be liable for any damages to the product and or the vehicle caused by not properly using hood pins - HERE or being incorrectly installed
- Always Carefully Close your hood slamming or pushing hard in the center may cause damage or worse crack. Always close slowly and snap closed with two open palms one over each headlight should be a smooth snap if it dos not snap close the bump stops may be stopping the hood from closing.

Fitment w/ Intakes:
- Guaranteed to fit with the OEM intake only. If you have an aftermarket intake it may need to modified.
- On after market intakes you can try spinning the coupling with sensor for clearance but this is not the case with all intakes.
