Install Instructions
- Park the truck on level ground and block the rear tires before installing the DA45.
- Remove the OEM tie rod from the factory pitman arm and lower it out of the way.
- Remove the retaining nut and washer from the steering gear box output shaft.
- Use a pitman arm puller to remove the factory pitman arm from the gear box.
- Install the DA45 using the OEM nut and washer, torquing to factory specification.
- Reattach the tie rod to the DA45 using OEM hardware.
- Reset toe and tighten all tie rod assembly hardware.
- Check all hardware torque after the first 100 miles of driving with the DA45 installed.
