Installation Instructions
- Safely lift and support the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the front wheel.
- Compress the brake caliper piston using a caliper wind-back tool. Remove the caliper bolts and hang the caliper without stressing the brake line.
- Remove the caliper bracket bolts and set the bracket aside.
- Remove the old rotor. If stuck, tap lightly with a rubber mallet to free it from the hub.
- Clean the hub flange with a wire brush and apply a thin layer of anti-seize to the hub contact surface only.
- Mount DBA53919BLKS onto the hub. Secure temporarily with one lug nut to keep the rotor flat against the hub face.
- Reinstall the caliper bracket and torque bracket bolts to factory specification (typically 125-130 ft-lbs).
- Reinstall the caliper and torque caliper slide pin bolts to spec (typically 25-30 ft-lbs).
- Reinstall the wheel and torque lug nuts to 110 ft-lbs in a star pattern.
- Pump the brake pedal firmly until it feels solid before moving the vehicle.
- Perform the DBA bedding procedure: 8-10 moderate stops from 40 mph to 5 mph, then allow full cool-down before driving aggressively.
